Space industry at your fingertips – ‘Space Industry Day’ conference in Wielkopolska.

More than 140 participants representing public administration, academia and industry met on 4 April 2025 in the Session Hall of the Marshal’s Office of the Wielkopolska Region in Poznań during the ‘Space Industry Day’ conference. The event was organised by the Polish Space Agency in cooperation with the Local Government of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship.
The conference was dedicated to showcasing the national potential of space technologies and building partnerships in this sector. It was attended by Dariusz Garbiec, Deputy Director for Research at Łukasiewicz – Poznań Institute of Technology, who was one of the participants in the discussion entitled. ‘Poland in Space: AI, Robotics and the Future of Space Technology’.
The panel brought together many experts to discuss the Polish space industry and research in AI, robotics and the future of space technologies. Participants included: Edwin Wnuk from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Krzysztof Walas from Poznań University of Technology, Krzysztof Samp, Vice President of ITTI Sp. z o.o., Piotr Orleański, Vice President of the Board of the Space Sector Employers’ Association, and Bartosz Walter from the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Centre.
